Thousands of users are REALLY mad. Many are even talking about a lawsuit, as they have lost revenue over these last few days. Someone who is obviously angry edited the Wikipedia page of Lycos, adding the following:"The entire Lycos infrastructure is offline due to blatant and almost unimaginable incompetence. This outage has affected all email and web hosting customers, costing customers millions in lost sales revenue and preventing access to critical emails and documents. Along with the incompetence that caused the outage, the company refuses to communicate with customers, provide updates on status of the outage, or otherwise engage with worried and angry customers on its social media sites. Many customers are making plans to immediately move their content and domains the moment the service is restored, while other customers have already begun organizing class action lawsuits in the United States.
The parent company is also refusing to engage with customers or provide updates, leading to speculation that Lycos will be down permanently, and without notice. Customers wishing to join any pending class action lawsuits against Lycos, or its parent company Ybrant Digital, should join discussions in progress on social media sites."https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lycos
